Anti-Racism

At Dereham Junior, we are committed to creating a caring and inclusive environment for every child. Our school is a safe place where everyone has the right to feel secure, learn and achieve their potential.

We want to support children to develop an understanding and acceptance of difference. This includes the ability to recognise and challenge racism. To help your child understand what racism is and how to prevent it, we have created a social story that has been shared with them in school.

It would be extremely helpful if you are also able to share this story at home with your child.

The following websites may also be useful if your child has further questions:

Thank you for your support.
